The Lions Emblem
“The name Lions stands not only for fraternity, good fellowship, strength of character and purpose, but above all, its combination of L-I-O-N-S heralds to the country the true meaning of citizenship: LIBERTY, INTELLIGENCE, OUR NATION'S SAFETY.”
We strongly embrace the Lions Club International Five Pillars of Service: Vision, Hunger, Diabetes, Cancer, Environment.
Being a Lion means knowing that kindness matters
We believe in changing the world by serving the needs of our local communities. More than 1.4 million Lions around the world are responding to local and global challenges with kindness and care. Come volunteer with us. Find a club near you Join a club.
Regular membership is for community members interested in volunteering, serving the community and making our world a better place. Regular members pay a membership fee $100. There is a family rate for multiple members from the same household.
The benefits of being a Lion
It doesn't matter whether you live on or off campus, or you're a full-time or part-time student — you can join or charter a Campus Lions club. You can serve your school, your neighborhood and communities in nearly any country with the support of the largest service club organization in the world. For High School age students please look for the "Leo Club" in your school.
Here is a partial list of our activities. 100% percent of the money raised from our fundraising events is returned to the local community. We welcome any opportunity to explain all that we do in more detail so if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!

Attleboroughs Have Heart is a Bi-Annual fundraiser we host in February to raise for funds for our local food pantries. ALL proceeds raised goes to the local food pantries in our area at the end of the event. The lawn signs are available for a suggested minimum donation. Look for Lions volunteers at Capron Park (Dennis St entrance) during our event. They are limited so be sure to grab them when you see them! (Last Event Feb 2026)
